 | PV power system The home has a 2.4kw PV array on the roof mounted on a flat roofing system with a tilt to optimize the summer sun while taking advantage of winter sun also

Solar hot water The roof also supports a 20 tube, evacuated tube type solar hot water manifold.

 | Power Package In the basement mechanical room, our model PP-3648GV/7K-21AGM Power Package is connected to a main utility panel and an load panel to provide power to the home for several days should utiility power be interrupted as it was in 2007. The battery system has 52 kilowatts of power storage using sealed, maintenance free AGM type batteries.

Radiant heating The photo shows the radiant heating system using a Buderus GB-142, 98% efficient gas boiler with two Rinnai instantaneous hot water heaters and a Buderus ST-300 solar hot water tank to the far right.
